CHECO Fall 2020 Conference

On behalf of the entire CHECO Board, I’d like to thank all of you for your continued participation in CHECO and your patience as we finalize plans for Fall 2020.

After extensive discussion among the Nature Place and several member institutions, we have decided to deliver CHECO Fall 2020 as a virtual event. I recognize that this is disappointing news for many of you – and believe me, we share your disappointment - but the decision reflects our commitment to the safety of our colleagues and our communities, and enables broader participation at a time when travel and training budgets have been curtailed.

CHECO Fall 2020 will take place over 1.5 days on Tuesday September 22 and Wednesday September 23. In order to ensure the ongoing financial solvency of CHECO, we will be requesting that all attendees submit an online registration and pay a nominal $50 registration fee – which will be waived for presenters.

We are currently accepting presentation proposals – simply contact any member of the CHECO Board to volunteer! – and will be opening the registration page on the CHECO website in the next couple of weeks.

Again, thank you for being a part of the CHECO community, and we look forward to seeing all of you virtually in a month.
